Window Nation of Boston is the regional arm of a national window and door company, run out of Norwood, MA and answering calls at 781-619-8591. Window Nation says its Boston-market operation has been going since 2020, backed by a nationally operating parent company that's been in business since 2002. The stronger signal here is a wide base of customer feedback: Best Pick Reports shows a 4.7-star average from 806 ratings, and Thumbtack shows 4.6 stars from 75. Crews get called out repeatedly for professional, fast installs — "the crew was very professional and did a great job installing the windows," one reviewer wrote, and a Best Pick reviewer this summer called the experience "professional, reliable, and top notch," surprised by how quickly the crew worked. A repeat customer this spring said she was "extremely impressed with the quality" of a second round of windows and a front door. That said, the record isn't spotless. Best Pick's own 806-rating tally includes 49 one-star and 12 two-star reviews behind that 4.7 headline average, and at least one review points to weak communication around manufacturer delays and installation scheduling. A Thumbtack reviewer in December 2025 said a promised referral gift certificate for a family member went unpaid for months despite being happy with the actual installation work. The BBB, for its part, shows an A+ rating and Massachusetts and Rhode Island contractor licenses on file, but its own profile lists no reviews or complaints at all — a much quieter picture than what shows up on the other platforms. For straightforward window and door replacement, the volume and tone of the feedback lean solidly positive. Before booking, it's worth asking directly about installation scheduling and getting any promised credits or gift certificates in writing.
“This dispute between two window installation companies concerns alleged infringement of a trademark held by plaintiff L&P Boston Operating, Inc., d/b/a Window World of Boston (“plaintiff” or “L&P”). L&P claims that defendant Window Nation, LLC (“defendant” or “Window Nation”) has infringed and diluted its trademarked phrase, “House Full of Windows Installed”, through commercial use of similar terms. ... Here’s what happens when you tell your Window Nation rep that you do not want to purchase on the spot and still would like to get other estimates. Sam was at my house and after going over everything he gave me his quote. I said he was the first company I had over to give me a quote and I wanted to get their estimates before making a decision. He asked what price would get me to commit today which I gave to him. He made a call to the office and they came back with a lower price but still not my price I told him. I thanked him for the time and said I would be in touch after I got some other quotes. He turned very sour, grabbed all his things and stormed out of the house and slammed my front door in my face as I was quickly following him out. It was so forceful that he damaged the door handle and dented the door itself. It’s all on camera. I’m sure their windows are nice but you can’t have representatives acting so childish when you don’t buy right on the spot. I called Window Nation to make a complaint. They are offering to replace the door handle and patch/paint the door. Still not a very enjoyable interaction with them.
Window Nation was professional, reliable, and top notch. From our first estimate appointment straight through to the follow up after the windows were installed, we had a great experience. We could not believe how fast the crew was installing our windows and they did a fantastic job. Would recommend to my family and friends
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I am a second time customer and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of the the windows and front door that I purchased. The sales representative Joe Njajar was so knowledgeable about the products and very accommodating with his schedule. The installation team did a fantastic job as well. I definitely will be recommending this company to everyone who needs new doors and windows!
Nice reps. Decent price for some really nice windows.
Very informative and answered all my questions happily. Explanation of window components and insulation used was easily understood. Happy to learn that they have a 100 % warranty of their work and windows for as long as we own the house. Our sales rep was very professional, knowledgeable and not pushy at all, love that! Highly recommend this company to replace your windows.
