Scheduling trades on Cape Cod is famously hard. The most detailed account of this firm - a December 2025 review of a roughly 2,800-square-foot addition - spends a paragraph on exactly that: apart from one week between excavation and the concrete pour, someone was working on the house every day, with Billy setting the schedule and a foreman named Reggie handling the handoffs between crews. That client had interviewed six contractors first. WLWA Jurczyk Holdings trades as William Jurczyk Design Construction out of Falmouth, and it reads as one man plus a bench of subcontractors: William "Billy" Jurczyk, who writes in the first person on his own site and whom clients name in every review. The pitch is design and build together, using reclaimed and green materials, with a client login that tracks progress, costs and messages. His Houzz portfolio runs to twelve projects, including an interior restoration at Nobska Lighthouse. The jobs are bigger than "remodeling" suggests. A 2021 reviewer had a studio cottage in Woods Hole almost entirely dismantled and rebuilt as a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, finished between Labor Day and Memorial Day while COVID was slowing inspections. A 2020 client got a custom 1.5-car garage with a work area and roof deck, plus a 1925 storage basement converted into living space. In 2017, one homeowner called him after another contractor had not shown up for three weeks; he had the kitchen running again within 24 hours and went on to renovate nearly the whole house. The design half is what clients keep returning to. Reviewers from 2016 and 2017 describe leaning on him for materials, colour and layout decisions their plans never covered - one seller on Martha's Vineyard credited that eye with getting the largest value lift out of a limited budget. An interior design firm that has worked alongside him put it plainly in 2016: forthright about costs and time estimates, and willing to take on small projects when others won't. Two things to settle first. The licence number - CSL# 104946 on his own site, listed as 104946 on Houzz - is his claim and the directory's, not a registry check; ask to see the current licence and insurance certificates. And the written history is lopsided in time: eleven of the twelve accounts were written before 2021, with the 2025 addition the only recent one. Nine years of consistent praise, but not much of it from the last four. For a Cape project where the design decisions are still open - an addition, a gut rebuild, a house being readied for sale - this is an owner-operator who will be on it himself. Confirm the licence, then ask to walk his finished jobs; one client said that tour is what settled it.
“Wlwa Jurczyk Holdings, 55 Whitman Road, Falmouth, MA- For permission to upgrade an existing septic system to Title V regulations.”
Last December, we started construction on a new garage, a primary suite above the garage, a new woodshop, and a new mudroom and sunroom above the woodshop. The total square footage added was about 1,400 sf of finished space (bedroom, mudroom and sunroom) and 1,400 sf for the garage and woodshop. We interviewed six contractors for the job. Jurczyk Holdings ("Billy") immediately stood out to us for several reasons. First, he is an exceptionally nice person. This was apparent through all our discussions - before the job started, during construction and post-completion. Second, he spent plenty of time with us and was willing to show us as many of his prior projects as we wanted to see. When we toured prior work, we were impressed with the consistent quality evident in each job. Our third reason sealed the deal - our plans were enough to get a construction permit but did not include finish details. Billy has an amazing "design eye". As we toured properties he had worked on, he shared some of the suggestions he made to owners along the way. It was extremely comforting knowing that we could rely on Billy to help us make a myriad of design decisions along the way. When the job started, the qualities mentioned above were confirmed over and over again. Prior to the job beginning, Billy mentioned what a great team of subs he works with. Our experience was that the subs were talented, kind, respectful of our home, our family, and our neighbors. They cleaned up after themselves and kept an very clean job site. Not only were we grateful, but many of our neighbors mentioned how much they appreciated the cleanliness and the kindness of the people working on our house. The subs were also willing to offer suggestions to make our new space more enjoyable which was greatly appreciated. It is notoriously difficult to schedule contractors on Cape Cod. You wouldn't know it from the way our job was run. With the exception of one week between excavation and the pouring of concrete, we had teams working on our house continuously throughout the job. Billy scheduled the work and his job foreman, Reggie, made sure the handoffs from one contractor to the next were as smooth as possible. The final outcome exceeded all our expections - both in terms of the physical construction and the process. We could not be more appreciative of the job Jurczyk Holdings did for our family.
We could not be happier with our kitchen and master bath remodel. It was a complete transformation! Ever detail was superbly managed. Bill and his team are consummate professionals!
Billy essentially built us an entire new cottage/house in Woods Hole. The old studio cottage was almost entirely dismantled and rebuilt to become a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. The entire process working with Billy was seamless and actually enjoyable. He was true to his timing (this was an incredible feat considering getting inspectors out on a timely basis due to COVID issues at the time) and got the build out done between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Billy truly is a good natured easy going person and his subs are excellent. The quality of work is great (he's proud of the details of his subs and will point out to you some of the smaller things they do which he requires). I'm very happy with the end product and highly recommend anyone consider him for large or small projects.
Billy built us a customized 1.5 car attached garage with work area, and roof deck with wind hut. In addition, he finished our 1925 basement that was for storage only into a 21st century living space. The construction was outstanding with great contractor and subs. Billy has an outstanding sense of aesthetics that resulted in a one of a kind custom build that would be the envy of all.
My experience with WLWA was just great. From the planning, to the budgeting to the execution and the finish, it all went beautifully. No detail was too small to be considered important and all decisions were made carefully and professionally. Our new kitchen, mudroom, dining and living room details are wonderful additions to the house. We couldnt be happier and almost wish there was more to do because we certainly would use WLWA again in a heartbeat!!!!!
