Year Round Heating and Cooling

Joshua's customers describe getting cooling back during heat waves and getting more heat from older systems. Year Round Heating and Cooling advertises boiler, furnace and air-conditioning installation and service, with ductless heat pumps as a stated specialty. Its website lists western Massachusetts towns including Amherst, Hadley, Northampton, Holyoke, Chicopee and Springfield. In a June 2025 Google review, a customer said Joshua came out the same day during a Massachusetts heat wave after other companies declined new clients or quoted waits of several weeks. The customer said he resolved the air-conditioning problem and charged a fair price. A separate June 2025 Angi customer with an older central-air system praised his quick response, willingness to accommodate their availability and answers to their questions. Google reports a 4.8-star average from 73 ratings; Angi reports 4.8 from 61, with 97% five-star and 3% one-star ratings. The older accounts describe specific repairs and maintenance. A September 2022 Angi customer said Joshua replied within an hour about a poorly performing mini-split and visited within a week. Cleaning restored the airflow, according to that customer. In a June 2021 Angi review, another customer described a next-day visit during a heat wave and said adding refrigerant restored their mini-split's cooling. A Google customer writing in April 2020 said Josh had installed their mini-split system in 2018. Heating customers described similar work. A January 2022 Angi reviewer said Joshua found and replaced a failed part after their oil company had attributed years of inadequate heat to system design. A February 2019 Google reviewer said adjustments to a steam-heating system got a sunroom radiator working well again. A December 2023 Google customer praised his steam-furnace maintenance and called the price reasonable. Customers also described explanations during visits. In a September 2020 Google review, one said Sarah arranged an appointment around their schedule, Joshua arrived within the promised two-hour window, and he explained the system throughout a two-hour maintenance call. A May 2022 Angi reviewer said Joshua answered both their questions and their wife's. In a May 2024 Holyoke Reddit discussion, a commenter recommended Year Round Heating and Cooling as a locally owned business.
