Youngblood Company Inc. is a better fit for commercial construction due diligence than for a quick homeowner-service call. The company says it is a family-owned commercial mechanical and plumbing contractor in Haverhill, working on new commercial construction across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, with more than 50 years in the trade. Its Massachusetts plumbing license is active. The company’s institutional footprint is the stronger part of the file. BBB gives Youngblood an A+ grade and lists 67 years in business, while BuildZoom lists 158 permitted projects and a BuildZoom score of 93. The work described by the company is commercial mechanical and plumbing contracting, not a residential-service menu built around small repairs. The homeowner-facing review picture is much weaker. Google shows a 3.3 rating from 8 ratings, and the only recent written review in the last six months is a 1-star complaint from February 2026. That customer said Youngblood came out to fix a pipe, the pipe broke again at the fitting two weeks later, the whole house had no water, and the company would not return for another day or two. The license picture also needs a careful read. The state registry verifies the Massachusetts plumbing license as active, and BuildZoom lists a verified active Massachusetts Electrical Business license plus other active-but-not-verified entries. BuildZoom also lists inactive or cancelled license entries, so ask which license applies to the specific work being proposed. For large commercial plumbing or mechanical construction, Youngblood has a long operating history and a permit-heavy profile. For a homeowner repair, confirm up front that they take residential work, who will be sent, the exact license covering the job, and how they handle callbacks when a repair fails.

we had two gentlemen come out from Youngblood plumbing to fix a pipe and they look like they were high when they were here and now here we are two weeks later and the pipe broke again at the fitting that they put on and now they won’t come out and fix it for another day or two. How do you do that to some people the whole house has no water and now I have to wait another day for you and I have kids in this house. I will never ever use you again.
