Zolotas Peabody is a kitchen and bath design and installation showroom in Peabody, Massachusetts, led by designer Gail Zolotas, with BBB records showing the business has operated under this name for 27 years. Reviewers consistently and specifically credit Gail by name across a range of projects — from a full fire-damage gut renovation of a condo (kitchen, two bathrooms, tile, and a fireplace surround) in 2016, to a from-scratch kitchen and four-bathroom design for a new home in 2015, to a 2021 whole-home renovation where she handled every bathroom. One 2016 reviewer noted that the physical construction work itself, a shower rebuild, was carried out by the related 'Zolotas Brothers' team while Gail managed the design. All eight reviews on file, spanning 2015 through 2021, are five stars. Worth asking about: BBB currently lists this business as not accredited and without enough information to issue a rating, so it's worth getting references or seeing recent project photos directly rather than relying on BBB alone. This looks like a strong choice for anyone planning a kitchen or bathroom remodel who wants close, hands-on design guidance, especially for a full renovation with many decisions to make — Gail's reviews repeatedly describe her stepping in exactly where homeowners feel most overwhelmed.

“We absolutely love our kitchen renovation and could not be happier with the work Gail and the team from Zolotas Kitchen and Bath did. Our home is a 110-year-old house near the”
We are nearing the end (I hope!) of a large renovation of our home on the North Shore (Massachusetts). I was initially extremely hesitant about the whole idea (and that was even before the pandemic) but my husband has been wanting to do it for years so I basically handed it all over to him. He got a wonderful architect and then a contractor and we moved out in November of 2020. I knew that a ton of decisions had to be made but I was simply not in the “place” to make any decision. Our contractor suggested that we use Gail for all of the bathrooms, saying “She’s just great.” And she is! The renovation will not be completed until May 1st (2021) so I can’t post photos yet but I can’t rave enough about Gail. I was extremely hesitant to even venture out to look at much of anything and I didn’t really have to. Gail totally “got us” -understood what we wanted when WE couldn’t even describe what we wanted. She sent photos through email and nearly everything (ok, EVERYTHING) she suggested was just perfect. Everything has been ordered and a lot installed, I think! We’re living 15 miles away and I have only gone to see the renovation maybe 2x. My husband goes at least 3 tomes/week. I will update this when all is done but I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am to have found Gail. I have a sister who absolutely loves to design/redesign/redecorate her huge and beautiful home in CT but I am the polar opposite. I find it so overwhelming but thanks to Gail, it was a breeze. That being said, I would totally think that Gail would also work well with clients who really want to get super involved.
We had recently moved to a townhouse with a dated kitchen. Out on a drive in our new town of Peabody we noted Gail's business location and stopped in .With no high pressure she listened to our thoughts and wishes and agreed to visit our home for a consult. After discussion and based on her advice we selected a cabinet manufacturer and she then very efficiently provided us with a layout and plan which optimized our physical setup. We worked with a contractor who had previously done work for us and with his good work, Gail's's plan and the excellent cabinets she had provided we ended up with a kitchen beyond our expectations. We could not recommend her more highly for your project. Jacque and Bill Lally
Renovating my entire condo was not something I chose to do. Because of a fire, my entire place had to be totally gutted to the studs meaning everything had to be replaced and redone. Never mind trying to do all of this while being emotionally paralyzed. The best thing my contractor could have done was to refer me to Gail. She is sincerely interested in getting to know her client’s style and truly understood what I wanted despite it often taking a while to find. Gail was my go to person throughout my entire project meeting me countless times to figure out kitchen layouts, appliances, vanities, wood floor, tiles, hardware….you name it. Her taste is impeccable and I value her honest opinions. Gail designed my kitchen, helped me pick out tile for two baths as well as the vanities and the stone for my fireplace. I am extremely happy with everything Gail assisted me with and highly recommend her to anyone thinking of doing a remodel. If it wasn’t for Gail I’d probably still be spinning trying to make decisions!!
There aren't enough superlatives to decribe the beautiful job Zolotas Brothers did on my new shower. From the design ideas to the craftsmanship, the finished product is more than I imagined I could have on my budget. Gail, George and Michael were a pleasure to work with. I am happy (make that eager) to recommend Zolotas Peabody.
Gail Zolotas was amazing! She worked with the small space to look triple the size. Offering me so much more space than I could have imagined. She was always there when I needed her and I trusted her thoroughly.
