A Classic Kitchen Front refaces kitchen cabinets. On its BBB page the company describes itself as offering cabinet refacing and refinishing, and its BBB grade is A+. A 2017 customer said Joe visited the home and priced out the kitchen with an additional pantry cabinet that fit the budget, and that Tom and Anthony explained at the end of each day what they had done. A 2017 reviewer wrote that Tom came back an additional day to make sure all was done properly, and that they did not play music while working. A 2015 customer said Joe's price was not the lowest of the quotes they received but called it worth the price for his craftsmanship. A 2009 reviewer said Mr Dupont provided material samples and also worked with them on other phases of their kitchen remodel. A 2017 customer described a three-day refacing job that left the kitchen a mess for seven days: the start moved a day, the installers ran out of hinges, and Tom did not show on the promised Saturday. That customer said the doors were not delivered on time and called the finished work very good. A 2011 customer said the cabinets looked like new but would not hire him again, writing that a drawer was never fixed, a promised discount for missing handles never came off the bill, and that after a call about cabinets pulling away from the wall he said he'd come look but never called back.
Tom and Antony were super neat perfectionists. They were not happy until everything was just the way it was supposed to be. Tom came back an additional day to make sure that all was done properly and that he (and we, of course) were pleased with the work. Plus, they don't play music while working! This was a big benefit to us as we work at home and needed the quiet.
Joe is a great salesperson. He helped us choose the best door style and color. He offered lots of choices in style and color, so it's easy to find a good fit. His prices were were good, and he offers a great value. My disappointment was in the area of schedule and communication. I don't mind delays since that's to be expected. But in this case it was gaps during the installation that was most troublesome. We have had refacing done previously and understand the process. With two men this was easily a 3 day job, as Joe verified. Given that all contents of the kitchen must be removed, time is a big concern. The start date was a Monday, but was changed to Tuesday at last minute. Tom and assistant arrived Tuesday morning, and began and departed at 3pm. They arrived Wednesday and departed at 430. They didn't come on Thursday which I was told about that morning. They worked all day Friday trying to finish but ran out of hinges. Tom promised he would return Saturday but then never showed. He arrived Tuesday to complete the job. So the kitchen was a mess for seven days for a three day job. I spoke with Joe and it seems the doors weren't delivered on time which impacted the schedule. I can understand that but the work should never have been started if the materials weren't ready. The work they finally completed the same very good, no issues so far. If only the installation had been more professional, this would have been a five star review.
If anyone is considering re-facing cabinets and/or adding custom cabinets, I would high recommend A Classic Kitchen Front. Joe took the time to visit our home (Low Pressure Sale’s) and price out our kitchen with an additional pantry cabinet the fit our budget. Tom and Anthony executed the plan without any flaws. At the end of each day they would explain what they did and what the next day would consist of. I did have many questions and they were both great and answering them. In addition to that if saw something I didn’t like they took the time to fix it. I would high recommend this company to anyone looking for this kind of service.
Joe is the consummate professional and perfectionist. He went above and beyond helping us out with decisions and the overall project. His price was not the least expensive of the other quotes we had received, but based on his rating with Home Advisor, we went with him and we have no regrets! Definitely worth the price for his craftsmanship.
Joe was prompt, professional and very friendly. Loved the final product and felt he delivered a very good product at a fair price.
