A.W Browns Contractor Services offers roofing, gutters, siding and windows, and says its service area includes Dover, Rochester, Somersworth and Portsmouth. A 2026 customer said Alan replaced the roof on their camp in one day and sent dozens of photos because they were not physically there. A 2026 property manager said Allen explained what needed doing, supplied pictures of the issues and looked for an economical way to make the roof watertight while other companies wanted a total redo. The property manager said the job was completed quickly and that pictures showed the work during the job and the final results. A 2026 customer described rotted fascia behind a gutter that had pulled away from the house, sending water onto the driveway. The customer said Allen came a day after the phone call to look and give a bid, salvaged the old gutter to save about $900 in materials, and completed the job with a helper in one day. A 2026 customer said Allen patched a rubber-roof leak by the next day, completely solving the problem, and also installed a new asphalt roof. A 2026 customer said Allen brought over shingles for a gazebo after seeing their Facebook post, then returned to install them. A 2026 customer said Allen and his crew replaced a roof and repaired a rim joist, with everything cleaned up afterward. A 2024 customer said Browns completed roofing, a deck fix and flooring work, with results they liked at a fair price. A 2022 customer said Allen's team installed gutters and replaced rotten fascia; when the customer was unhappy with one corner afterward, Allen brought his crew back to fix it. A 2023 customer said a small leak appeared several months after Browns did the roof, following a heavy rainstorm, and the company returned and fixed it without questioning the request.
