Aardvark Painting & Home Improvements INC.

Aardvark Painting & Home Improvements is a Wilbraham painting contractor with a second Massachusetts address in East Longmeadow, and its own profile leans on lineage: fourth-generation, family owned and operated, 62 years in the trade by the company's count. The Better Business Bureau dates the business to 1964, its incorporation to 2021, and names Joshua E Long as the principal. The written accounts come from early 2017, and they describe more than paint. One February 2017 customer said Aardvark had painted every room in the house, remodeled the finished basement, installed new doors and stained replacement windows. Another, the same month, singled out the cleanup: "They cleaned up nicely, you wouldn't know they were even there." A third, writing in March 2017 while the job was still running, said they were pleased with the results and the advice and offered their own name as a reference. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show a 5.0 average from three ratings — the same three 2017 reviews on both sites. The BBB grades the company A+. Beyond interior and exterior painting, the company lists carpentry, ceiling repairs in textured and flat finishes, pressure washing and wallpaper removal, and its site adds handyman and refinishing work. If you want a painter who can also hang the door and patch the ceiling on the same job, that mix is exactly what those customers described. Because the written accounts are nearly a decade old, ask for a few recent local references and the company's current Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, and have the prep — patching, priming, how many coats — spelled out in the quote.
