Twenty-two Google ratings, all of them five stars, for a one-inspector outfit that mostly works out of a home office on East Riding Drive in Carlisle. ABBEY Inspection Services is Albert Innamorati's company; he says he did his first inspections in 1990 after years in his family's construction business as a licensed construction supervisor and foreman, and that he has been at it for 36 years since. The work is broader than a buyer's walkthrough. The company lists phase-of-construction visits for houses still going up, pre-listing inspections for sellers, radon measurement, water quality and well-yield testing, pool inspections and infrared energy-efficiency evaluations — with a stated service area running across MetroWest towns from Acton and Concord out to Leominster, Lexington and Stow. What people who hired him write about is the man, not the equipment. A 2025 Google reviewer called him "the best home inspector that I had the pleasure to work with"; a 2022 customer said his "friendly and bright personality made our home inspection a great experience" and would recommend him. That is a thin written history for a company of this vintage — three reviews across 2022 to 2025 — but it runs one way, and its BBB page is an A+. Two things to pin down before booking. The Massachusetts home inspector licence number on the site, MASS Lic. # 421, is the company's own claim rather than something confirmed against the state board, so ask to see it, along with the ASHI membership and the radon-measurement and thermography credentials he lists. And the tenure story doesn't line up across sources: the website dates the business to 1990, while BBB records it as started in 2004 with 22 years in business — worth asking which clock he means. For a MetroWest buyer who wants one experienced inspector on the roof and in the crawlspace rather than a rotating crew — and who may also want radon or well-water testing rolled into the same visit — this is a reasonable call. Confirm the licence, the fee for your house's size and age, and how quickly the written report lands.
Reliable, knowledgeable, the best home inspector that I had the pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
Called me during math class lovely people though
