Accent Painting, Inc.

Prep work is what customers of Accent Painting keep describing: sanding, scraping and carpentry repairs done before a drop of paint goes on. The Marlborough company paints houses inside and out, and the BBB lists it as established in 2013; its own site names Concord, Acton and Marlborough as its service area. More than half of its 22 reviews, which run from 2017 to 2026, name Ariel and his crew. In a May 2026 Google review, a homeowner who hired them after seeing their work on a neighbor's house wrote that other painters' estimates were lower but the proposals "were not equal in value," and credited the crew with proper prep and multiple rounds of paint. An April 2026 review praised a bathroom renovation, citing the cleanliness inside the house and the communication throughout. In a November 2025 review, the owners of an 1880 home described the crew sanding and prepping the whole exterior, working from early morning until evening, and Ariel following up after the job to address a few things. The repeat customers stand out. A Realtor wrote in February 2024 that the company had done many jobs for her clients and praised the carpenter on the crew. Another customer that month said a condominium painting job was the fourth project the company had done for her, and that the crew worked around her home office schedule. In a 2022 review, a homeowner chose Accent over two larger firms for a house, carriage barn and picket fence, noting it was considerably less expensive and bid a fixed price for the added carpentry. On Google the company holds 5 stars from 19 ratings, and the BBB lists it as an accredited business with an A+ grade. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #186105, is now shown as expired on the state registry.
