Not a gutter company!

Stay away! Do not use this company. We called for an estimate to replace two kitchen cabinets. A man came, we showed him the cabinets to be replaced. He saw that they would need to lift up the counter top, put in the cabinets which were raised approximately 2 inches from the floor and that there was a space on the side that would just need a piece cut so the gap was covered. He said they could do it, left, and sent us an estimate of $850. We agreed to the estimate and signed the contract. We provided the cabinets. The day they came, they changed their story. The same man told my husband that they could not do the job without breaking the counter top because it would be glued on. When he asked him why he did not say that when he looked at it, his answer was, " I should have looked at it more closely". He said the job would cost a lot more and we would need to call one of his friends to do the work for the base and the piece to cover over the gap on the side that would be created so they were built in. My husband told him we were not interested and then he complained because he and his crew wasted a day. Essentially, the contractor thought they could give us a price even after specking out the job and then do a bait and switch thinking we would pay more and they could charge us more. If they do this with us, I am sure they do it with you and other people let them get away with it and they get additional cost added to their projects. Stay away!
