AJ Home Builders Inc.

AJ Home Builders is a Cape Cod general contractor working out of East Sandwich, built from what started in 2020 as AJ Carpentry — the company Jean Pimenta and Anderson Silva founded together and still run today, Jean as CEO and Anderson as COO. Reviewers still call them 'AJ Carpentry' as often as 'AJ Home Builders,' and the range of work backs up both names: additions, whole-home renovations, and the kind of finish carpentry — trim, framing, window and door work — that made their reputation. What stands out across dozens of reviews from 2022 through 2026 is how consistently specific the praise is. Homeowners describe deck rebuilds, a nine-window installation, full siding jobs, and a leaking skylight assessed within 12 hours of the call. Bigger projects get the same treatment — a 2024 review describes an addition finished on time and on budget, a 2025 review describes a master bath refinish with an estimate the reviewer called spot-on, and another describes one job combining new siding, windows, and a kitchen and bathroom renovation. The word that comes up again and again isn't just 'professional' — it's specific numbers holding: estimates matching final bills, jobsites cleaned nightly, crews showing up when they said they would. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the Better Business Bureau lists a separate Massachusetts license (CSFA-106683) valid through January 2028, alongside an A+ accredited rating. Recent activity has stayed just as strong — five reviews in the last six months, all five stars, describing the same responsiveness and follow-through as the older ones. There's no documented complaint in the record to weigh against that, and the range of trades — home building, carpentry, siding, windows, remodeling — reflects a company that has grown past a narrow specialty since its 2020 founding as a two-person carpentry outfit. For anything from a deck repair to a full addition or room remodel on Cape Cod, the record here is deep, recent, and consistent.
