All Cape Welding

A broken Christmas ornament with family meaning was back together in less than 24 hours, according to a December 2025 Google review of All Cape Welding. The customer described a clean, strong weld and said they were happy with the repair. That small job sits alongside the company’s own description of custom metal fabrication, welding, railings, gates and related metalwork from its Hyannis shop. The company traces its history to Robert “Bob” Fenner, saying he founded All Cape Welding in 1972 after starting the business as Fenner Grant Industries and working nights and weekends at the current location. It says long-time employee Roland J. Gauvin purchased the business in 2006 after Fenner retired. The Better Business Bureau describes All Cape Welding as primarily serving commercial customers, with custom fabrication, railings, gates and glass panel walls among its offerings. BBB gave it an A+ grade and listed it as accredited in August 2026. An August 2025 customer described the steps from inquiry to an on-site welding job. Office manager Sarah responded within 45 minutes and requested pictures, then contacted the customer one business day later with dates when the work could be done. The reviewer said welding technician Adam arrived on time, set up his equipment and worked through a job that proved more difficult than it first appeared. In January 2024, another customer described emailing about motorcycle headers, receiving a timely response, dropping them off and getting a call a few days later that they were ready for pickup. The customer praised the finished work. A September 2024 reviewer said Roland and Sarah replied promptly after receiving engine pictures for welding. Google showed a 5-star average from 14 ratings in August 2026. Earlier customers described custom work and diamond-plate cutting in an October 2022 review, and work completed as scheduled and under budget in November 2021. Cape Cod Times has also covered the company’s metalwork.
