Two of the Google reviews here are from people who never hired the company: they are complaints about flyers. In June 2025 a customer priced the work against three other contractors, went with American Exterior, and had damaged wood under the shingles replaced before the new roof went on. A July 2025 customer had a deck rebuilt in composite with vinyl railings on the salesman's suggestion. The complaints about the work itself are older and specific. An Angi reviewer in November 2017 said the roof replacement matched the contract except for the gutters, which were left uncleaned and now overflow onto the porch, something the reviewer said they could not deal with themselves. A December 2023 Google review, written by someone speaking from inside the business, describes a customer dispute over interest charges that ended with the interest refunded. On paper, the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #135991, is active on the state registry. The company says it has worked Boston since 2002 on roofing, siding and window and door replacement. Angi lists GAF Master Elite certification and a BBB A+ rating as the company's own affiliations there, and shows a 2.8 average from two reviews, against 4.0 on Google from eight ratings. For a roof or a window job in Boston where financing is part of the decision, the detailed customers describe options laid out clearly and prices that beat other bids. Write the gutters, the cleanup and the allowance for replacing rotten wood into the contract, and ask for the workmanship warranty on paper: the 2016 customer whose contract spelled out flashing, underlayment, ventilation and both warranties is the standard to hold them to.
