Another Level Inspection is Jameson Malgeri's one-man operation out of Gloucester, and the name shows up again and again in reviews as shorthand for a certain kind of inspector — the one who finds what others miss. Across 134 Google reviews since 2021, the throughline is thoroughness that borders on relentless: one reviewer said Jameson identified issues that ultimately saved them from wasting over $100,000; another said he found things their own insurance company hadn't caught. That level of digging shows up in specifics. In a March 2026 review, a homeowner described Jameson climbing out a window to reach a roof deck after snow blocked the normal access — 'now that's dedication,' they wrote. In an August 2024 review, a buyer who had purchased three homes with three different inspectors called Jameson the most thorough of them, citing his use of thermal imaging to catch gas fireplaces running too hot for safety. Reports tend to land fast — one reviewer got theirs the same night, and another, in an August 2025 review, had it by the following afternoon. Jameson keeps showing up after the fact too: an August 2024 reviewer said he offered a free follow-up call with their spouse, who'd missed the inspection for work travel, to walk through the findings. Buyers come back — one reviewer said they'd used him multiple times and 'will never use anyone else', and a RE/MAX realtor said she refers her own clients to him. Not every account is uncomplicated. A March 2026 reviewer gave one star, saying the inspection ran long and the report dwelled on unnecessary commentary — clutter in rooms, guesses about appliance age — for an $800+ fee; a June 2026 reviewer, while satisfied with the thoroughness, also flagged the price as a bit high for the time spent, though they called the service unique enough to justify it. Jameson Malgeri's Massachusetts home inspector license is active and registry-verified. Another Level suits buyers who want a genuinely exhaustive look — the kind of inspector who'll climb through snow for a roof deck — over a fast, surface-level walkthrough, and who are prepared for a report that finds real issues rather than a clean bill of health. Given the recent price and pacing feedback, it's worth confirming the expected time and cost upfront.
Used Jamison for two different tricky property inspections. His knowkedge and thoroughness was excellent! He is up to date on code compliance, and has that extra knowledge that only comes from real world experience with building issues and needs. I am very confident that he will accurately and thoroughly complete every inspection…. Great communicator and timely…. Very professional… highly recommend him. I have needed many home insoectors over the last decades… Jamison is one of the best!
The inspection was thorough and Jameson was very helpful and very willing to do a follow up needed. I thought the price was a bit high for the amount of time taken for the inspection but then again he provided a unique service that others couldn’t do. Thank you.
Found things even the insurance company didn’t. So helpful and informative. Couldn’t have asked for or wished for better.
The most thorough inspector you will find. We have used Jameson multiple times and will never use anyone else
Jameson did a spectacular job for us! He was so thorough and thoughtful in his inspection and his fees were very reasonable. He's clearly knowledgeable about many aspects of home construction and function and explains things in terms that are very understandable. Plus, he is genuinely a nice person. I was thrilled with his work and would highly recommend him to everybody.
