I had my house re-sided and replacement windows installed by Austin's former employer a few years ago. Austin was the crew chief for the project and I was impressed by the quality of the work, so I got in touch with his new company when I decided to convert my deck into a screen porch. Planning was great: Austin took the time to fully understand what I wanted. I mentioned that a house a few blocks away had something very similar to what I envisioned, and he went over to check it out. Some time around the start of construction, I had the idea to add drop-down benches along two sides, and Austin devised a practical and effective solution. Construction: The team were all fine. Work proceeded smoothly whenever they were there. They weren't on site every day, but the work was completed in a reasonable time. Austin consulted with me to determine the correct height of the benches, then used that information to adjust the seat depth so the benches would fold neatly against the walls. With the project almost done, a problem arose with the screen door. Though it had spring hinges, it wouldn't close itself. Austin came over to diagnose it and installed stronger hinges. Later he returned to add better-looking framing for the door, a bottom sweep and magnetic catches. His business is small but busy, yet Austin was very responsive to emails. He understood what I wanted and did a good job building it. When something wasn't quite right, he made it right. I'm happy.
