Cara Meneses founded the company in 2016 and is named president and owner on its site, with Michael Mailloux as vice president following a leadership transition the company announced in January 2026. Alongside new construction and renovation, Archwright offers ongoing estate management for the homes it builds — a longer relationship than a single project. The company lists a run of recognition: Best of Boston Home in 2025, "Best of South Shore" for custom home builder in 2024, work featured in the Boston Design Guide (2025) and the Cape & Islands Design Guide (2026), and a 2025 BRICC award for its website. Independent of that, a July 2023 South Shore Home Life & Style item listed Archwright under best custom home builder, and in an August 2023 piece on a window supplier's site, Meneses said a new home had been completed in 11 months.
