Aroldo's Painting in Lynn, MA 01902

The crew shows up early. A condo owner writing in June 2026 clocked them arriving just before 7 a.m. and leaving just after 6 — the whole interior painted in one day. Aroldo's Painting runs out of Lynn and says it has been doing painting and carpentry for residential and commercial customers for more than 10 years. On Google the company sits at 4.9 across 38 ratings; Thumbtack shows 5.0 from 31. Reviewers keep describing the same thing — a full crew that arrives at dawn and stays until the job is finished. One homeowner, writing in October 2025, had them show up by 7:30 and work straight through; in July 2025 another had the whole exterior stained and finished, with several rotted boards swapped out, in a single day in 90-degree heat. Despite the name, a good share of the work isn't painting. A customer in September 2023 hired them specifically for carpentry, to replace dry rot around the house; a May 2024 reviewer had a side deck rebuilt and the front deck repainted; another, writing in February 2023, had painting and carpentry done throughout a very old, very lopsided house. Power washing comes up too — in July 2024 a homeowner had moss and gunk cleared off a roof, with the deck, walk and driveway scrubbed down afterward. Care with the house itself is a recurring note: a senior homeowner writing in May 2026 was glad not to move a stick of furniture for a five-room interior job, because the crew moved everything and put it all back. Two things are worth raising before you book. In October 2024 a homeowner gave three stars after waking up to find a painter already inside the hallway working on the exterior door, having let himself in rather than ringing the bell — the complaint was about communication, not the paint. And in March 2026 a Thumbtack customer who said the job was done well reported being charged $100 over a start 30 minutes later than planned. For a New England house that needs repainting inside or out and also has boards to replace or a deck to rebuild, this is a practical single call — they bring a crew and they don't stretch the work over weeks. Before they start, settle the arrival time, who will be on site, and what any extra charge is tied to, in writing on the estimate.
