Aurora's crews get to the house by seven in the morning and spend the first stretch of the job not painting at all. Customers writing this spring describe power washing, scraping and sanding, then rot coming out: clapboards replaced, porch landings rebuilt, window trim remade, the rotted bottoms of five sliding doors cut back and repaired before a brush touched the siding. One homeowner is on her third Aurora paint job, the second led by Dilomar. Another watched the work happen on a neighbor's house, asked about it, and hired them the following year. The small extras come up constantly. A June 2026 customer had broken sections of gutter replaced that were never part of the agreement. Another said the painters checked that every window still opened once the sashes and trim were done. A third booked two years after getting her quote, and Alexi honored the old price. Ask for yours in that shape, and ask who your crew leader will be and how often a manager comes by. For a full exterior repaint on an older house that needs carpentry first — rotted clapboards, trim, a Victorian's worth of detail — this is a strong call. Book early in the painting season and get the extras you want written into the scope.

We just had our house painted by Aurora and we are so glad we did. Gabriel and his crew did an amazing job! We had a lot of wood rot that needed to be addressed and they were great about telling us when they found a few new areas that needed care. They also installed a crosshead over our front door that we requested and it looks beautiful. The crew was friendly, they worked fast and efficiently without compromising quality. Aurora Exterior Painting and Paulo’s team in particular, did such an amazing job on our house!! All communication was great, they were very friendly, responsive and lovely to work with. The prep was thorough and detailed and our house was way past due for a paint job, so that part was labor intensive but they sailed through it, working right through the weekend… And it was not just chipped paint but water damage, rotten wood, woodpecker holes, etc! So there was significant up front work to tackle, but it was all taken care of. And the finished product is beautiful! Our home matches our shed, they moved and covered all furniture and then set everything back up again. We talked through the side door, the bulk head, the garage door, and each decision was made thoughtfully. The crew was sweet and chatty with our many kids who are home for summer break and were eager to watch the work happen. My daughter commented today how we will miss them, and it’s true! This is the best experience we’ve had with any house work we’ve done and we will definitely be using Aurora Exterior Painting (and carpentry!) and specifically asking for Paulo and his team for future jobs! Thanks again for everything. Our home is beautifully refreshed and looks better than it ever has. We so appreciate your hard work and attention to detail!!
