BAG Oil LLC is a heating oil delivery company; its website says it delivers heating oil to customers in Connecticut. A recent customer praised fast delivery. A 2026 customer said that despite a storm and the temperature dropping to -2, they arrived on time and delivered the oil without any issues. A 2026 reviewer who had told them the oil was extremely low said they came late at night so the delivery happened that day. A 2026 customer who ordered oil on a Thursday for a Monday delivery said they were given a series of later times through Monday and the truck showed up at 10:30 at night, as the household was about to leave for a hotel to stay warm. A recent customer in Litchfield, CT said the company called to confirm the order, then cancelled it the next day, saying the address was not in a town it serves.
What a poor customer service experience. They called on the day I placed my order to confirm details and then waited until mid-day the following day to cancel on me trying to tell me I don't live in a town they service. I live in Litchfield CT. I pay my taxes to Litchfield CT - I don't live in Bantam but yet their representative wanted to keep arguing with me about where my house is and where I live.... I am literally in the middle of a zoning permit application and guess where I had to apply for that - Litchfield.... but prices went up almost 50 cents overnight so it's obvious why they are backing out of their previous commitment. I would recommend using a trustworthy and honest company and THIS ONE IS NOT!

Excellent service from Bag Oil . Despite the storm and temp dropping-2 they arrived on time and delivered the oil without any issues. Very reliable and dependable, especially during extreme weather conditions. Highly recommend!
I ordered my oil on a Thursday, knowing that I was very low. They told me that it would be delivered on Monday. Great so far. Sunday night at 630 came along, and it was going to be one of the coldest weeks in a while, so I went to check my oil. I was running on fumes. I immediately called Bag, explained that I was worried about running out over night. I was told there was nothing they could do, and that my delivery would be there the next day. I wasn't very happy, but decided to tough it out. I called them 8am Monday morning to confirm the delivery. I was told that it was scheduled to be there very soon. Never showed. I call at noon, I was told that it would be there by 3. I called at 4, was told 530. At this point the oil finally kicked and the house was starting to cool off quickly, leaving my wife and daughter very concerned. I called again at 6, was told 730. Called at 8, was told 9. Finally, as we were about to head out to a hotel to stay warm, at 1030 at night, they show up. It only took about 5 minutes to fill my order, which made me wonder what they were doing all day. I will never use this company again.
Exceptional service! Communication was clear, prompt, and always kind. We informed them our oil was extremely low and they came late at night, just to ensure we got our delivery for the day. Highly recommend!
