Replacing a few damaged hardwood boards without an obvious mismatch was what delighted one Baker Floor Refinishing customer. In a November 2024 Google review, the apartment resident said the replacement boards matched perfectly. Google lists 4.3 stars from 15 ratings. Another 2024 customer had a different experience. In a March review, the writer reported poor-quality sanding, a permanent groove where the machine dug into the floor, and "Pooling and holidays everywhere". They said their wife remained displeased with the results. Older customers described repeat work and restoration of worn floors. In a February 2020 review, a homeowner recalled three jobs: the whole home after they bought it, the main floor after an ice-maker water leak, and another main-floor freshening after a ceiling fell and the furniture had been moved out. They praised all three results and said the original referral came from a friend whose large Longmeadow home had been done. That reviewer described Baker as a longtime, family-owned business. A July 2016 customer described sanding and refinishing the dining-room and living-room floors and stairs. The maple floors were more than 60 years old, had been under carpeting, and had stains and rippling from an earlier refinishing attempt. The customer said the finished floors were golden and smooth. In a July 2015 review, a repeat client named Rich and Linda and described years of floor work at their home, office building and rental properties, praising the quality.

I live in an apartment with hardwood floors. They came on Thursday to replace a few of the boards that were damaged. They matched it perfectly. I'm a hard person to please but I love the repair. ITS PERFECT! Thank you
I was hoping for better!I never want to give a business a poor review but since my floors were done I have heard it every day from my wife how displeased she is with the results. Poor quality sanding. I have a permanent groove where the Machine dug in that I see every day now! Pooling and holidays everywhere. To bad, should have showed around.
I had the entire home done when I bought it and it as held up very well. Due to an ice maker water leak I had to have the main floor redone. Due to my ceiling falling and moved all furniture out and decided to have main floor freshened up. ALL three times they did a beautiful job. I initially went to them because a friend of mine had their entire very large home in Longmeadow done. It was absolutely gorgeous. This is a family owned, long time business.
We just had Baker Floor Refinishing sand and refinish our dining room, living room, and stairs, and all we can say is- the results far exceeded any expectations we could have had!! These floors are over 60 years old, were beneath carpeting for who knows how long, had some stains and rippling from a previous attempt at refinishing. Now our maple floors are beautifully golden, glowing, and smooth. Thank you for the beautiful job!!
Rich and Linda have done floors for me for years and have to say they have come out amazing. I have had this company do my home and my office building floors along with my rental properties and have to say they have more than met my expectations. I will go no where else but to Baker Flooring and I highly recommend them to my friends and family because of the quality of work they do. Im a very happy client
