Benjamin's Power Washing, based in Methuen, runs one of the higher-volume power-washing operations in the area — 682 Google ratings, nearly all five stars, and 526 reviews on file going back to 2021. The calls are for pressure washing and soft washing houses, decks, patios, and roofs, plus the gutter cleaning and window washing that tend to ride along with it.
The 122 reviews from the last six months tell a consistent story: crews that text ahead, reschedule around weather instead of pushing through it, and work carefully around plantings, furniture, and fixtures — one recent reviewer noted the crew protecting a covered heat pump condenser and a small herb garden while pressure washing vinyl siding, and another said the crew moved heavy deck furniture out of the way rather than asking the homeowner to. A recent review described a whole-property clean that stripped five years of mildew and dirt buildup from siding, trim, teak furniture, a PVC fence, a deck, and brick walkways in a single day, for a fraction of what repainting or replacing the walkways would have cost. In a 2025 review, a customer described a crew bringing the shine back to gutters, trim, soffits, and garage doors and clearing black grime and algae off a chimney after the house had gone uncleaned for a few years — the kind of deep, overdue job that shows up repeatedly in the record. A number of reviewers say they now use the company every year for the same routine on the house, roof, deck, and gutters.
One 2026 review is a clear outlier: a caller described confusion over whether the person she reached, Carl, actually worked for the company, was told dispatch would follow up, and never heard back three days later. It stands alone against a very heavy run of five-star reviews, but it's a reminder to confirm who you're talking to and get a scheduled callback in writing if one doesn't come.
For a full-property wash — house, roof, deck, patio, and gutters together — Benjamin's has the volume and the specifics behind it to back that up; just make sure any phone follow-up actually gets scheduled.
