Almost every glowing review of StoneOne names a person, not a product — Kim, Silvana, Mike, Jen — which tells you a lot about how this Methuen countertop shop actually wins jobs: someone sits down with you and matches stone to your cabinets before anyone cuts anything. The company says it has been family-owned and working out of 75 Mystic Street since 2004, with craftsmen in the stone trade since 1985, fabricating and installing granite, marble, quartz and quartzite countertops plus tile and masonry work around New England. Its BBB page is an A+, accredited since 2010, and it lists itself as a Cambria Premier Partner certified to fabricate Cambria, Viatera, Silestone, Caesarstone and Corian Quartz. The track record is deep rather than thin: 45 reviews spread from 2021 to 2026 across five sources, and Google shows 4.5 stars from 80 ratings. The last six months have been quietly good — four reviews, none negative. One July customer redoing two kitchens and three bathrooms described being walked through every choice and getting calls and texts answered within minutes; a May reviewer said the measuring, scheduling and installing crews all showed the same care; a March bathroom-countertop client praised the installer's work outright; and a February reviewer singled out the laser measurements and a crew that cleaned up on the way out. What's worth asking about is the install itself, because that's where the small number of unhappy customers landed. A 2025 reviewer liked the stone selection but said the crew cut the sink-accessory hole far too large even after being handed the fitting. A 2024 customer who was satisfied with the quartz itself wrote at length about poor service and communication around a special-order sink that took months, and a 2023 visitor described being passed between floors and never really helped in the showroom. Separately, a builder in 2025 said a StoneOne salesperson pushed to handle a referred client directly rather than through the trade partner — worth knowing if you're a designer or GC sending clients in. If you want an in-stock slab, hands-on design help and a shop that has been doing this for two decades, StoneOne is a strong call — several reviewers came back for a second and third project. Confirm the templating and cutout details in writing before fabrication, especially for undermount sinks or accessory holes, and ask who owns the schedule if any part of your order is special-order.

We had the best experience at StoneOne. We are redoing 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms . Micheal Germano guided us through all our choices, helped us match them to our cabinets and tiles. He has so much knowledge and patience. He was always there for any questions or concerns. Answers every phone call and text within minutes. He is the acme of customer service. Thanks Mike for making this process go so smoothly! We will highly recommend you. Pamela and John

To say we were blown away by our experience with StoneOne would be an understatement. Every person that we spoke with, whether it was the person measuring, scheduling or installing had a professionalism and kindness that was unmatched. They really care about their customers and you can feel that from start to finish. The closest second to their service is their products which are absolutely stunning. There is no one else we’d work with for any other project.

Kim was a huge help in guiding our decision on a bathroom countertop install. The installer did a fantastic job and we are so pleased. Highly recommend Stone One.

Great company to work with. So pleased with everyone from Stone One from the beginning to the very end. Both Silvana and Jen were wonderful to work with. Silvana has a great eye for color schemes and found her extremely helpful. Jen was always available to assist with several scheduling requirements. I felt very comfortable working with them. Very impressed with the accuracy and precise laser measurements. The installers were professional and cleaned up on their way out. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
