Bergeron Hardwood Floors

My partner and I recently moved into our home and needed to update quite a bit with the house. Our first project was to rip out the 30 year old carpets and replace them with hardwood floors. We got a 3-4 estimates and Geoff's was very competitive compared to the others. He was very clear in describing how he would do things, the timeline in which things would get done, and was very patient answering all sorts of questions from my partner and I. Once it came time for the work to be done, it was completed in a very timely manner. Geoff was very communicative about the times he would arrive and leave and left nothing up in the air. One clear sign of Geoff's professionalism is how well he cleaned the entire space everyday he was working. We were still living at the property when he was working and knowing exactly when he would be here and making sure to clean as well as he did everyday made living in the work zone so much more tolerable. Another thing that really impressed me with Geoff was his patience and willingness to work with me with any small concerns I had. Geoff was willing to deal with any concerns we had immediately. For instance, the original baseboard trim did not wrap around the nosing of the stairs near the railing. It looked a little awkward without the carpeting anymore so Geoff bought and stained a piece of trim to make that space look much better. Another detail that is important is the fact that we are new homeowners and were looking to save money any way that we could. One way I could mitigate the cost would be to complete the demo of the 2nd floor myself before Geoff began his work. He was very accommodating in allowing me to get some stuff done myself to save a little money. Geoff was very good about explaining what needed to be done for the demo to be completed to his standard, how much it would save us money, and answered any questions I had along the way. I have attached photos because pictures are worth a thousand words. Geoff installed transition-less hardwood floors throughout our entire 2nd floor and installed hardwood treads on the stairs and replaced and refinished all the bannisters on the railings as well. Any tools seen in the photos are MY tools/mess and is not reflective of Geoff's work in anyway. Overall, we are incredibly satisfied with the work Geoff and his team completed at our home. We intend to do the first floor next year and we have already decided to work with Bergeron Hardwood Floors again!

My wife and I just bought our first home that was filled with carpet, we were blessed to have some beautiful hardwood underneath, with the exception of one patch that was a former closet and the lack of hardwood in that area stuck out like a sore thumb. Geoff was able to help and place some new hardwood in its place and we couldn’t be happier!
