Highlights
- Mini-split specialists — creative solutions for tricky layouts
- Prompt seasonal service — quick diagnosis and repair
Black Diamond Energy is a Massachusetts HVAC contractor that specializes specifically in ductless mini-split heat pumps — consultation, installation, and follow-up service. It's run by founder and lead technician Joe Watson alongside owner Kevin King. All seven reviews on file, dating back to 2023, are five stars. A 2023 review described the team finding a creative way to fit heat pumps into an unusually configured home while beating competitors on price. Others describe prompt seasonal maintenance — Joe diagnosing and fixing a small leak while prepping three units for the season in a 2024 review — and quick repairs, including a technician fixing a newly discovered central AC problem the same week a new homeowner called in 2024. For a ductless mini-split installation or seasonal tune-up, the specialization and consistently positive, specific reviews here stand out — with only seven reviews on record, it's still worth confirming references for a job of similar scope.

Just moved into a new house and discovered the central AC was not working properly. I called Black Diamond Energy and Mateus came out the same week. He cleaned and fixed out unit in no time. He was great! Very easy to work with and very professional. I will definitely use Mateus @ Black Diamond Energy again! Highly recommend!
