In a March 2026 review, a homeowner said the company responded quickly, sorted out problems with their septic system at a competitive cost, and that everyone they dealt with was knowledgeable. In May 2025, another customer said the crew fixed a previous contractor's mistakes and kept them informed throughout. A February 2023 reviewer summed the operation up as an excavation company doing septic, municipal waterworks and site work, with fair pricing and crews who knew what they were doing. The review that deserves your attention is the October 2025 one-star. On what the customer described as an almost $30,000 septic installation, they said the system wasn't topped with clean fill as quoted — rocky sand full of debris instead — that the yard wasn't regraded properly, and that water has pooled toward the house foundation ever since. They also said a return visit amounted to one man with a shovel and that further regrading was refused. Google's overall average is 4.3 across 23 ratings, so this is not the pattern; but grading and fill are exactly where a septic job turns into a drainage problem, and the complaint is recent and specific. So hire them for the underground work they're clearly practiced at, and put the surface conditions in writing: name the fill material and its source, specify final grade and slope away from the foundation, and hold a portion of payment until the yard has taken a real rain.
