BPS Plumbing Heating & Cooling holds active plumbing licenses in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, verified against each state's registry — the Massachusetts license under the company name, the New Hampshire license under Brian P. Schwing. The company says on its website that it's been serving Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts since 2004.
One name comes up again and again in the recent reviews: Tyler. In a July 2026 review, a customer called in an emergency for an elderly relative and said the crew pulled someone off another job to send him right away, clearing a clog on the spot. In April 2026, another customer said Tyler found and fixed a hidden kitchen leak that had been buckling the floor and soaking the basement ceiling below. In March 2026, a third review described him fixing a leaking ice-maker valve.
The reviews also name Dennis and Karen for heating and scheduling work. In an October 2025 review, a customer described Dennis servicing a boiler and walking through the system afterward; a February 2023 review credited Karen with arranging same-day help after a garbage disposal died on a weekday afternoon. Beyond routine repairs, a November 2022 review described a tankless water heater and dual-fuel HVAC system installed in an 1890s home, and a December 2023 review described two mini-splits installed in an older house.
A few reviews raise the same concern from different years: in an August 2025 review, a customer said they still hadn't received a written estimate days after a visit; a July 2023 review described paying a $159 diagnostic fee and then waiting two weeks with no written estimate; and an April 2023 review said a repair came to almost $700 for one hour, compared with a quote of $420 from another plumber. Most recently, a March 2026 review said a high-efficiency boiler the company had recommended seven years earlier was now leaking, and that the company did not seem willing to address it.

I called requesting same day service. Because this was an emergency for my elderly mother. I was so pleased they were able to pull somebody from a job and send them right away. Tyler did a fantastic job, got to the clog right away and cleared the drain.
I called BPS stressed out over a water leak in my kitchen that I couldn’t find . Buckling my floor and saturating the basement ceiling below . BPS was able to provide fast , knowledgeable service . The serviceman -Tyler , exhausted all options and found my issue and fixed it in less than an hour . I’m super appréciative and will use BPS from now on .
