The company works out of 63 Beach Street in Marblehead. Its BuildZoom page is unclaimed, and the principal named on it is Douglas Schluter, listed there as both owner and responsible person, so the trading name reads like a person's while a different name sits behind the licences. Ask about the licences specifically. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#140107, issued September 2025) and a construction supervisor licence (#CS-087574); both are BuildZoom's own claims rather than anything checked against the state registry. It also lists an EPA lead-safe renovation certification, #NAT-F121649-1, as inactive, noting the status was cancelled at one point, which is a live question for anyone renovating an older Marblehead house. What exists here is a permit trail, not a customer history, so there is no rating to give. If you are weighing them for a full teardown-and-rebuild or a large addition, the one thing they demonstrably have done, ask to see the finished Ware Lane house and ask for current copies of both state licences and the EPA certification.
