Brunelli Energy delivers home heating oil, and its website describes will-call and automatic delivery, a budget plan and online ordering throughout Eastern Connecticut. The company says it has been in business 19 years and offers 24/7 emergency service. Its BBB grade is A+. A recent customer who had been out of oil for 10 days, after an order from another dealer never came, said this company took them on as a new customer and made sure the family had heat that night. A recent customer of six years described oil deliveries, furnace maintenance and repair, and most recently a hot water heater replacement, and said the company helps in the middle of the night when the furnace stops running. A recent customer said the company came through with a fast delivery when a former provider went out of business. A 2025 customer who forgot to check the tank said the company came out on a day it was not listed as open and filled it. A 2024 customer who came home to a cold house said they were out in about an hour to fill the tank and got the furnace running again. That 2024 customer called the after-hours emergency fee reasonable. A 2026 customer said ordering each season had been straightforward and delivery timing accurate, but the receipt could be left in different spots. A 2025 customer who needed a vent alarm replaced said the company changed the amount on the paperwork after it was signed, billed an hour for a half-hour job and then canceled the oil delivery. A 2022 customer said they were billed for a service that was not performed. A 2022 customer objected that the price locked in at ordering was not lowered when the posted price dropped a few days later.
I’ve been relying with Brunelli for almost a year now since they first SAVED OUR BUTTS last winter. In a world where you can’t call a company without getting an AI voice or a voicemail saying to send a text, call Brunelli for office employees that are intelligent, caring, understanding, patient and kind! I’ve worked with so many companies over the years trying to use energy assistance programs or just trying to call to get a delivery and it’s miserable, (I’m sure you have too!) but last year I made it down the list to Brunelli. We’d been out of oil for 10 days, it had been 2 weeks since I ordered oil from Norwich Discount and it never came. I was calling everywhere and no one could get to me because I was a new customer but this company not only took me on but went out of their way to make sure my family had heat that night! The drivers are always communicative, respectful and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them enough!!!!

I have been using Brunelli Energy for 6 years now since I moved to Connecticut. Oil deliveries, furnace maintenance and repair, and most recently replacing a hot water heater. If Brunelli can do it, they are the only people I want to give my money to. Their customer service, workmanship and dedication to ensuring the comfort and happiness of their customers is top notch. When you call, you will probably talk to Cathy and she is just a gem- always helping in any way that she can and ensuring that you are informed, taken care of and always following up to ensure that you are happy with their service- which I always am. Their technicians are respectful, honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They will always provide you options while ensuring that you are informed in order to make any decision that you may need to make. I have been extremely happy with the quality of their workmanship and the care they take with your home. It is clear that they genuinely care about their customers and the work they are performing. They are transparent about pricing, the situation and will always work to accommodate your needs while expediting their services in any emergency. You can count on them to help in the middle of the night when it's 5 degrees out and your furnace stops running. Trust me on that one. I do not make recommendations lightly, but I would be remiss not to let others know my experiences with Brunelli Energy so that they can experience the same level of top notch service like I have. I highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough for the years of service and support they have given to me and my family.
Ordering each season has been straightforward, with friendly, detail-oriented support that confirms everything clearly. Delivery timing is accurate, and the delivery is handled smoothly every time. The only hiccup is tracking down the receipt, which can be left in different spots. A standard method would really help.
Brunelli has gone above and beyond for us at our rental property several times. They always return my calls quickly even after hours or on the weekend and have helped us out of several jams! Highly recommended for service and heating oil!
