McCarthy Heating Oil says on its website that it operates out of Quaker Hill, serving south-eastern Connecticut, with complete heating system installations and air conditioning among its work, and its BBB profile describes heating oil and fuel delivery. The company says it has been in business for 65 years. It holds 4.5 stars from 13 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the BBB. A customer since 1978 said the company replaced their oil tank in less than a day, took the old one out and left no mess behind. A recent customer said two Mitsubishi split-system AC units were installed and the workmen were meticulous both inside and outside the house. One recent customer who needed a new AC unit said Mike recommended a unit with both AC and heat, and that Jeff and Brandon did the install and helped troubleshoot a couple of days later when the customer did not know how to operate it. A recent reviewer said McCarthy has been servicing the Montville WPCA for years.
“I've used McCarthy oil for the 2.5 years I've owned my house in Wethersfield. My dad has known the owner since he was a kid so I trust him/the company.”

“Officials said he worked for McCarthy Heating Oil Service out of Quaker Hill.”
The crew at McCarthy Oil is very professional and friendly. They do great work and my mini splits are wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone needing heating or cooling work done!
McCarthy Heating Oil is the BEST! We needed a new AC unit. Mike recommended a unit that has both AC and heat at a very reasonable price. The heat will be excellent for those cold days in the fall before we turn on the heat. Jeff and Brandon did a great job with the install and helped me trouble shoot a couple days later when I did not know how to operate the unit properly. McCarthy's attention to detail is ALWAYS outstanding! They have our highest recommendation. Dr. Lisa
In April we had 2 Mitsubishi split system AC's install. The workmen were meticulous in their installation--both inside and outside the house. We highly recommend their product and service. Would use McCarthy again!
McCarthy has been servicing the Montville WPCA for years with impeccable, professional service. Mike is great to work with and the technicians are first rate!
I’ve been a customer of Mcarthy’s Oil company since 1978. Whenever I needed service on my furnace they’ve always been there. My recent project was my oil tank replacement. They replaced it in less than a day. Took old one out. They left no mess behind, they were professionals. I highly recommend McCarthy Heating for Heating Service needs
