New to the area and calling around for oil prices. The person who answered acted like it was weird to be asking for pricing and asked for my account. I told them I don't have one and they told me they aren't taking on new clients and to call back in the spring time. Felt like a rude interaction and way different from the 5 other companies I've already called today. Maybe she's having a bad morning, but it definitely soured any chance of using them in the future. If you don't have an account don't bother calling until spring. My response: I hung up on you because you were so rude that I felt disrespected, and there were other companies I had already talked to this morning that were pleasant and helpful. (Not to mention the fact that they were willing to help me this year, and didn't tell me, in the rudest way possible, that I have to call back in the spring.) I'm the second review in two months where you mention the reviewer hung up on you. You should use this as a time for some self reflection. Perhaps come up with a new way of explaining how your company works when talking with potential customers. A little tact can go a long way. I understand your business is set for the year and you aren't relying on new customers, but customers aren't guaranteed. You might not be able to afford to be so rude to potential customers in the future. I felt a review was warranted since your rating did not live up to my experience. You pretended to not understand what I meant when asking for your what current rate was. You treated me like I was stupid for not knowing how your company operates. I get it. You're company is "different" and "special", but you need find a way to portray that to first time callers that doesn't come across as you belittling them. The person answering the phone is the problem. I don't know if they're the same person who is replying to reviews, but you should work on how you talk to people. Especially since it seems like you had no idea how rude you sounded.

I highly recommend them. They were prompt, friendly and very professional. They replaced the entire burner quickly and without any issues.

C.W. Knight Oil is great to work with!! Recently just installed a new steam boiler and replaced all of my water pipes in my basement. Work was phenomenal; this company is very professional and efficient. Great communication and follow through; ALL employees are extremely pleasant. I highly recommend C.W. Knight Oil to anyone, they've been great to me over the years!!
