C2MG Builders

C2MG Builders is a Topsfield outfit led by founder Kurt Fieldhouse, describing itself as a luxury home builder that builds custom homes, restores historic houses, and renovates city brownstones in Back Bay, Beacon Hill and Cambridge, with a portfolio it says spans New England. Written reviews are thin — two on Google, from 2022 and 2025 — but both are strongly positive: one called the team "the best of the best," and another described it as a top-tier general contractor that works well with architects and homeowners. A longer paper trail comes from North Bennet Street School, where Fieldhouse has served on the Carpentry Program's advisory committee for more than a decade; in a 2019 project covered by the school, his crew hosted Carpentry students to renovate a guest house at a Dover horse farm. The Better Business Bureau lists the company as an A+-graded (though not accredited) corporation incorporated in 2009, with one employee on file. That single-employee listing suggests larger builds likely run through subcontracted crews rather than an in-house team — worth confirming staffing directly for a project of any size. For a custom build or historic restoration in the Boston area, the combination of an A+ BBB grade, a long-running educational partnership, and reviews citing smooth work with architects reads well — with only two written reviews on file, ask for recent project references directly.
