Red Phoenix Construction Inc.

Red Phoenix Construction describes itself as a carpentry-driven contractor working on the North Shore, taking on highly detailed exteriors and complex renovations, and its website says it has been in business 18 years. On Houzz, the company says it employs its own carpenters and lists framing, detailed exterior trim and siding, and interior finish carpentry as its specialties. A 2018 customer on Houzz described a kitchen redesigned with an open layout that required removing a load-bearing wall and a chimney, along with an upstairs addition holding a master bathroom and a laundry room. In that 2018 review, everything stayed on budget and matched the estimate. A 2014 customer described a 20 x 26 two-floor renovation and addition, from pre-planning meetings through the finish carpentry. A 2018 customer said an electrical fire reduced the house to its studs, and that Red Phoenix left it more up-to-date and spacious than it had ever been. A 2016 reviewer wrote that pipes froze and burst while the family was away and a week's worth of water destroyed nearly everything in the house; Patrick O'Toole was their lead contact. In the update to that 2016 review, the customer said the company was proactive and thorough in completing the warranty work. A 2018 customer said two carpenters, Brian and Ryan, were clean, respectful and quiet with their tools throughout the deck construction. A 2019 customer said Red Phoenix installed windows, a sliding door and a deck, and that Pat was responsive to all questions. On Google, a 2025 reviewer called Rick and Steve professional, fast and communicative, and a 2024 reviewer thanked the company for a beach house project. Red Phoenix Construction LLC holds Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 186859, active on the state registry.
