Caliber Electrical Contractors combines a substantial electrical permit history with a sharply mixed customer story. BuildZoom places the company at 75 Prospect Street in Auburn, reports 29 permitted projects and lists electrical work; its Massachusetts registry profile verifies electrician license 22123 as active under Daniel James Campbell. The company’s own site says it serves Douglas and areas across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, with residential and commercial electrical work, panel upgrades, rewiring, EV chargers, generators, repairs and emergency response. Recent Google reviewers describe whole-home heat-pump electrical work, mini-split cleaning and installations, with punctual crews, clear explanations, tidy work and quick scheduling. Older reviews describe a 200-amp service upgrade, a complete commercial electrical installation, home rewiring, lighting projects, an emergency tree-damage repair and a Level 2 EV charger installation. The BuildZoom permit sample independently shows service replacements, rewiring, breaker and panel work, lighting and device installation. There is a serious disagreement in the October 2025 reviews about mini-split rebate representations, permitting and financial losses. Multiple customers described being promised rebates they say were unavailable, and one said permits were not pulled. Those complaints sit alongside four recent 2026 reviews that were positive, so ask for the full scope, permits, rebate eligibility and financing terms in writing before work begins. Caliber appears suited to homeowners or businesses seeking electrical installations, service upgrades, rewiring, EV charging or emergency response, provided the heat-pump/electrical boundary and rebate responsibilities are explicit. Its website says HVAC equipment itself is handled by partner referrals, not by Caliber.
Working with Caliber Electrical Contractors was a wonderful experience. Working with Diana was a pleasure. We were able to get an estimate and installation all in the same week within days of each other. Living in a 2 family house, we agreed on 2 mini splits for our 2nd floor flat. The install crew was friendly, patient and professional. The apartment cooled off in a matter of 2 hours given the outside temp was near 100 degrees. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them during our annual maintenance.
I had a whole-home heat pump system installed at my home by Caliber Electrical Contractors and I couldn't be happier with their work. The crew that came out was professional and punctual. Their pricing was great and the whole experience was very easy. If you are in need of an upgrade, I highly recommend Caliber Electrical Contractors!
We had them clean our mini split because it looked like mold was growing inside. They were very responsive, came on time, and did a great job. We will definitely be using them again and not waiting a decade to clean it in between!
Detailed and patient explanations for all my questions, Punctual install team and had the ability to pivot when needed. Cleaned up after themselves when they were done. an efficient experience.
We had caliber come out, they did an amazing assessment and we were installed pretty quickly. They help with everything from rebates loans and using the system! The team is great at caliber and would recommend them!
