Cape Cod Septic Services is a septic-only contractor working out of 350 Main Street in West Yarmouth with a second yard at 100 Echo Road in Mashpee. The company describes itself as family-owned and says septic work is all it does — pumping, installs and repairs, Title V inspections and drain cleaning — for homeowners and commercial customers across the Cape. It was incorporated in April 2015 and its president of record is Christopher Maki. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+, though the company is not BBB accredited, and Google shows a 4.2 average across 37 ratings. What customers praise is consistent and specific, and much of it is about the same two people. Homeowners repeatedly name Amy in the office for picking up the phone and following through, and Hayden on the truck for finding buried tanks and working tight driveways. A homeowner in May 2026 with water pooling in the yard had someone out within hours, had roots cleared from a clogged line, and called the charge extremely reasonable. Pricing comes up often in their favour: a Chatham cottage-colony owner in October 2025 priced two tanks with three other firms and found this company several hundred dollars cheaper, and a 2023 customer who needed a distribution box replaced ahead of a house sale said the job came in thousands below a competitor's quote and was finished on schedule. The other half of the record is about follow-through, and it recurs across several years. One homeowner said the company did not finish the job and never answered calls, messages or email. Another, in June 2022, said crews never returned after November to grade and seed the yard or re-hang wires their machinery had pulled off the house, despite having been paid. A 2022 customer said three attempts to locate a septic cover instead punctured an irrigation main line in several places, and that the company declined to cover the repair. In May 2026 a caller reported four calls with no call-back and said the advertised round-the-clock availability did not hold that day. Two more recent complaints are about conduct rather than workmanship — a May 2025 customer described a hostile visit that ended with the technician leaving without pumping, and a July 2026 driver was reported for aggressive driving in a branded truck. This is a reasonable call for a routine pump-out, where the speed and pricing reports are strongest and most recent. For an install, a repair or anything with a second visit attached, get the scope, the return date and the restoration work in writing before you pay, and confirm what the emergency line actually covers.
“Hayden showed up yesterday around 11am which was earlier than the 12-3pm window that was given. I had located one tank and he quickly found the other one. He was initially concerned about the tight clearance on driveway but handled it perfectly.”

This goes to the driver this morning who plowed through a 4 way intersection refusing to yield right away to the other 3 drivers and then giving the finger out the window to us who were beeping our horns. Clearly didn't have the basic sense to realize his advertising is all over the truck. Nice guy huh?
Called 4 times. No call back. I can be the odd 1 star but 24x7 is not accurate today.
I reached out to Cape Cod septic for water accumulating in my backyard. I have never had septic before and don’t know a lot about About It. I spoke with Amy who answered the phone, explained my problem to her and within hours I had somebody out to check it. Hayden arrived from Cape Cod septic Took a look at my problem and instantly knew what to do. Not only did Hayden fix the problem, but also educated me on my septic the components and parts to it what problems to look for having a septic system. He removed roots from a drain that were clogging my septic and the charge was extremely reasonable. Thank you, Hayden and thank you Amy. You will have all of my septic needs in the future. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Amazing service.
I am giving 5 stars for the employees with whom I worked with! Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and understood urgency!! This was an emergency situation for us so I understand the price, but still a lot more than we expected - used up the budget plus! I will definitely be calling them year after year and look forward to working with them again. Thank you. The Reardons
Needed to have my two tanks (2000 gal & 1500 gal) at my cottage colony in S Chatham pumped. Had previously used RB Our for years but they have spun that part of business off to another company. Checking prices, Our and JMB were both $600 & $450 respectively so $1,050 total. Called Daniel’s and they were $1,160 total. Called this company and got a very nice Amy who gave me a total of $875! SOLD! Not sure about emergency situations but they do Chatham on Tuesday and Thursday which was fine as no hurry. Hayden showed up yesterday around 11am which was earlier than the 12-3pm window that was given. I had located one tank and he quickly found the other one. He was initially concerned about the tight clearance on driveway but handled it perfectly. Definitely satisfied with the job and the price!
