William Wahtola Plumbing & Heating

William Wahtola Plumbing & Heating has run out of the same Hyannis, MA address since 1946, according to the company — a Cape Cod plumbing and heating outfit for heating installs, water heater swaps, new-construction and remodel work, and gas/oil burner service. The two written reviews on file are a few years old but tell a consistent story: in 2022, a repeat customer who had used the company three times wrote that it "shows up promptly and gets the job done and done well," while flagging that the work runs on the pricier side. A 2021 review was simply enthusiastic, with no specifics. The Better Business Bureau, though the company isn't accredited, gives it an A+ and notes it backs new work with a one-year product warranty and a five-year labor warranty. One thing worth asking about directly: Massachusetts confirms William L Wahtola's plumbing license, 7937-PL-M, but the state registry currently shows it expired. The company's own website separately lists that same number plus two more registration numbers, MPL:13290 and JPL:24335, that haven't been checked against a registry. With a long local track record and a customer who came back three times, this reads like a steady, known local shop — but confirm current licensing and get a firm price up front, since the one detailed review flagged cost as the main friction point.
