A homeowner writing in June 2022 described Tupper Construction completing insulation and weatherization after a MassSave Energy Assessment. The customer named Isaah, Connor, Felix and Don, saying they arrived early, worked through the day and kept the work neat. That same customer said the owner did not return calls. Tupper describes itself as a Cape Cod custom home builder and remodeling business led by owner Rick Tupper, with more than 20 years in the area. Based in West Yarmouth, it advertises kitchens, bathrooms, additions, renovations and new construction, along with no-cost MassSave home energy audits. Its website states that it is an independent contractor in the Mass Save Home Energy Services Program through Cape Light Compact. Its Google reviews run from 2022 to 2024. A March 2024 customer said Felix and his crew explained each step before starting and worked cleanly and efficiently. A May 2023 customer praised the crew's hard work and neatness and looked forward to lower heating and cooling bills. The anticipated savings were the customer's expectation. Google lists five stars from three ratings. Tupper's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 178434 is active. BBB gives the company an A+ grade and lists it as not accredited. BuildZoom lists 1,073 lifetime permitted projects and describes the permits shown as mostly insulation and weatherization work. Houzz advertises frame-to-finish building and remodeling throughout Cape Cod. A March 2023 Indeed commenter described Tupper as a fair place to work but said they had left because of a lack of work at one point; the commenter also expressed uncertainty about whether the business was still operating. Houzz lists a different West Yarmouth address, 27 Roberta Drive, from the Higgins Crowell Road address used by BBB.
“Good start in construction. I'm not sure if they are still in business but a fair and decent place to work. I had to move out due to lack of work at one point”
“He is a building contractor and the owner of Tupper Construction Co.”
Felix and his crew were polite, explained every step before getting to work, clean and efficient. They did great work.
The crew that came today was spectacular! Hard working, thoughtful, courteous, neat and thorough. We couldn’t have asked for more! Looking forward to lower heating/cooling bills which will mean the world to us! Should be one of the best investments we’ve ever made. Thank you so much!
Tupper Construction completed a weatherization project in my home following a MassSave Energy Assessment. The insulation installation crew who completed the project was top-notch! Isaah, Connor, Felix and Don showed up early, worked straight through the day, and did an excellent job! They were very courteous, friendly, hard-working, and very neat, which I greatly appreciated. The owner did not return my calls, but I wanted to give a special shout-out to this team; they are a credit to themselves and the company.
