In a 2016 review, a customer woke to a burst water heater, called at 7:30 AM and had a new one installed by 11:00 AM. A 2018 customer whose boiler failed said no local company could come for days, and Joe had someone there 10 minutes later. In a December 2023 review, a family whose heater quit before Christmas said Joe came the day before Christmas Eve and fixed it. The Quincy company, at 51 Phipps St, describes itself as family-owned, 15 years in business and serving Greater Boston with plumbing, heating, HVAC and gas fitting, including 24/7 emergency calls. Its Google page shows 4.9★ from 47 ratings, with reviews running from 2013 to 2025. Boilers and water heaters make up much of the work. A March 2025 customer said Joe serviced and cleaned their steam boiler and replaced an automatic valve, at prices they called very reasonable. A 2018 reviewer said he converted an old oil-fired boiler to a tankless direct-vent combination gas boiler, and another 2018 customer said he handled the Mass Save paperwork on a new boiler system. Several reviewers credit him with not overselling: in a 2017 review, a customer braced for a $10K boiler replacement said the problem was a leak, fixed in an hour. Longtime customers call him their go-to plumber. A November 2022 reviewer said Joe has looked after their old, quirky Quincy house for five years, from a very old steam boiler to a water heater replacement. There is one sharp complaint, from 2015: a customer gave two stars and said they were sold a furnace described as used only one year, then found from the serial number that it was six years old.
