We needed a new igniter for a gas oven and my brother-in-law told us that it's a simple job which we could save a bundle on by doing it ourselves. I checked online parts dealers and they all priced the igniter at around $160 which seemed awfully high to me. Also, when it comes to dealing with gas related things, we're more comfortable having a pro do it, so we called Carrier. Ron responded within a day and arrived at the appointed time. He was personable and was respectful of our request that he wear a mask in the house. He completed the job within 20 minutes and charged only for the part and actual time spent on the repair. Our total parts & labor cost was $140. We'll be going with Carrier for any further appliance repair needs
