Water heaters failing at the worst moment are the stories Don Cassidy's customers tell. In an October 2025 Google review, a household whose water heater was on the verge of exploding in the middle of the night said Don came right away, stabilized it and had it fixed the next day. A January 2026 reviewer said their water heater burst the previous October and he got back to them immediately. Cassidy Plumbing & Heating is an Arlington plumbing and heating contractor. Donald Cassidy's Massachusetts plumber license, 13415-PL-M, is active. It says it offers repairs, drain cleaning, water heaters, boilers, heating systems and 24/7 emergency plumbing within about 20 miles, from Lexington and Belmont to Woburn and Sudbury. It holds a 5.0 from 14 Google ratings, with written reviews from October 2025 to March 2026. Many reviewers are long-time customers. A January 2026 reviewer said he has handled plumbing crises in their 1860s home for three and a half years and offers alternatives based on their plans for the property. A November 2025 customer said he first came when a boiler went out about 10 years ago. Another November 2025 reviewer said Donald and his team did a bathroom remodel and replaced the heating and cooling system on time. An October 2025 reviewer who does bathroom and kitchen renovations said Don is their first call for plumbing.
Call Don first every time!! He is incredibly responsive, thorough, patient, honest, friendly, and 100% committed to getting the job done and getting it done right. A+++++
I have only had good experiences with Don. He is honest, experienced, and his rates are reasonable. Don squeezed me in last minute to check out a plumbing concern of mine and he didn’t even charge me a fee. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.
Don Cassidy is the plumber of plumbers…responsive, reliable, reasonable, and a total delight to be around. 100% would recommend!
We’ve had such a great experience with Don. We’ve called him for routine jobs, but where he really shines is in an emergency. Our water heater burst this past October, he got back to us immediately and helped us out fast. He’s always responsive, dependable, and truly comes through when things go wrong. It’s such a relief knowing we can count on him. Highly recommend!
Don Cassidy has consistently rescued us from plumbing crises in our 1860s home for the last 3.5 years. I can't even believe it is possible to find such a reliable and trustworthy plumber. He is also kind and takes time to explain. I trust his judgment. He will provide alternatives depending on what your plans are for your property and not simply propose the option that is advantageous for him. I chose him somewhat randomly and hit the jackpot. Look no further.
