Edvin is a talented and honest contractor who knows his stuff. Service oriented, reachable and stands behind his work. I called him once for a roofing emergency during a storm in the middle of winter. He was on site with his team within an hour and climbed the roof in 60 MPH winds and devised a temporary fix until he could replace my roof in warmer climate. A true professional.
We hired Castle Bay Construction to do some roof repairs before we installed solar panels. Ed, the owner, was great to work with. He responded promptly and was very punctual. He took great care to answer all of our questions and to explain what he thought needed to be done and what our options were. Just as importantly, he explained what was not necessary to be done. He seemed very honest and didnât try to upsell us repairs we didnât need. We talked about the trade-offs of repairing the roof vs installing a new roof. He gave us an estimate for a new roof because we asked for it but he told us that he thought we didnât really need it. They may not be the cheapest roof contractor out there, but I would hire him again if we needed roof work done. Thatâs about the highest recommendation I can think of.
Our Victorian home had some rotted siding, and Castle BayConstruction not only diagnosed the problem, but were able to repair the extensive damage that became apparent only after opening up the house. They handled replacing a major support beam, and many other details in a timely and professional manner. Their work crew is extremely knowledgeable and hard working. They followed through on every detail, and always communicated with us about their procedures and work schedule. I highly recommend them!
Edvin and his team were great. He was easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with. They made sure everything was done properly and thoroughly. Would definitely recommend using them and I plan on using them for future projects.
