Charp Craftsmen LLC does carpentry, and a recent reviewer, a production manager at a roofing company, says Todd custom built a new door trim one piece at a time to match the model the customer originally had, until it looked as if it came as one piece. That reviewer says Todd explained in detail what he was going to do before he set up his tools and went to work. A 2026 customer said Todd replaced an old window in their garage that had been there over 60 years, and also replaced their storm door. A 2026 customer called the business a woodworker and carpenter and said they planned to have them back to redo their cabinets. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0705897, held by CHARP CRAFTSMEN LLC, is active on the state registry. Its Google page shows 5 stars from 4 ratings.
I am the production manager at a big roofing company and we recently ran into an issue where we needed some outside help with some fine finishing on some carpentry work. One of my coworkers had given me the name of a guy who he thought could help, his name is Todd. After a quick conversation and a few details we decided to meet at the location and see what he could do to help resolve the issue. Immediately upon arriving he was very respectful and polite , he told me what I can expect and after a brief conversation I knew I had made a great choice. He explained in detail what he was going to do and I knew that he had arrived with a solid plan of action. After meeting with the customer he set up his tools and materials and went to work. He custom built a new door trim in the exact same model as the customer originally had, he did it one piece at a time and made it look exactly like it used to , it actually looked like it was one piece and it came that way . I was very impressed. The customer loved it and I was very happy with the results. Not only did the job come out great and the customer loved it as well, but in the mix of all this he took time to teach me a few things as well . Todd took great pride in his work and made sure it came out nice for this customer. I would highly recommend this man and his company for any type of finish carpentry work and for the professional way he was throughout the process. As a person who is the trades and needs some good quality work from outside from time to time I feel like I struck gold with him. Sincerely Bill H production mgr. Brown roofing
Todd is an amazing craftsman. Always top of the line high quality work. Highly recommend him for any of your home projects.
Todd was immediately able to replace an old window in our garage that had been there over 60 years. The work was excellent. He replaced our storm door and the work was done with the upmost care. My husband and I would highly recommend him. His care and desire for perfection is shown in all that he does. He will be doing another repair job for us so an update will follow.
Very talented woodworker and carpenter. I am very happy with the work they did for me and I will definitely be having them back to re do my cabinets. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charp Craftsman LLC to family, friends, or anyone else!
