Coastal Industries is a Haverhill window-and-door shop with a manufacturing angle, not just an installation crew. The company says it is family owned and operated, has been around since 1973, and makes and installs windows, doors, porch enclosures, and screens from its Haverhill facility for customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The public review footprint is favorable but not deep. Google shows 4.8 stars from 18 ratings, Houzz shows 5.0 from 4 ratings, and one dated 2025 review praises the company’s windows, doors, energy efficiency, and installation work. That is enough to take the positive pattern seriously, but it is still a small set of review text for a company with a long claimed history. The licensing issue is the item to pin down before booking. Massachusetts registry evidence lists HIC registration 189563 as expired, and that matters for a homeowner hiring for window or door installation. There is also an accreditation mismatch: BBB itself says Coastal Industries is not BBB accredited while Houzz lists “BBB Accredited Business” and Angi lists a BBB affiliation. They look best suited for homeowners who want locally made windows, doors, storm products, porch enclosures, or screens and want to work with a Haverhill-based manufacturer-installer. Before scheduling, ask Coastal directly for current HIC registration status, warranty terms, and whether the work will be handled by its own installers.

This company makes outstanding windows and doors. They are very high quality, attractive, very functional and are extremely energy efficient. Every company member I have dealt with has been courteous, highly skilled and very professional. Their installation work is beautifully done. I enthusiastically recommend their windows and storm doors, staff and installation crew. Thanks so much for a great job.
