Commonwealth Environmental Services does mold remediation. On its Better Business Bureau listing, the company says it offers mold remediation services, including testing, removal and inspections, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. A 2026 review from someone who had just hired them describes a good and informative sales pitch, with the job scheduled for the end of April. In a 2025 review, a customer said they called back within hours and called the price good. A 2024 review calls them very experienced and knowledgeable of remediation, and says Richard Power completed on time and did an exemplary job. That 2024 review adds that his workmanship is guaranteed and transferrable. A 2022 review says the mold removal was thorough and included cleaning out vents. In another 2022 review, a customer said they had a basement ceiling and insulation removed and disposed of. A separate 2022 review says the relative humidity had dropped by 10% indoors and that they gave lots of advice to prevent it happening again. A fourth 2022 review describes a fast response to an urgent situation, with the house left restored and livable. In a 2021 review, a customer described disposal of furniture (a foam mattress) and clothing where the mold could not be remediated completely, laundering of some clothes and linens "to be safe", and tips on next steps including mold-resistant paint for ceilings. Another 2021 review describes a ceiling with black moldy spots plus mold in carpeting, furniture and doors, all taken care of quickly. A 2021 review about attic mold says Mark, the technician who cleaned the attic, explained everything he was doing. In a separate 2021 review, a customer said he could have charged more but told them certain areas were easier than expected.
