An entire finished basement, two remodeled bathrooms, and a kitchen project that extended into a pantry, den and laundry room: homeowners describe hiring D-Core Construction for work across substantial parts of their homes. The company says it has 15 years in business and serves Hartford County alongside Connecticut towns including Darien, Westport, New Canaan, Fairfield and Woodbridge. Google shows five stars from 23 ratings. A bathroom customer writing in October 2026 describes Felipe explaining materials and suggesting design ideas, with Edwardo serving as foreman and communicating through the rebuild. The homeowner credits Edwardo, Didi and the crew with careful daily work and a finished bathroom that met their expectations. Another October customer says Felipe involved them in small decisions while finishing their entire basement; they subsequently hired him for another job. A separate October reviewer had used D-Core for both bathrooms and intended to hire the company again. The August 2026 multi-room project included a full kitchen, butler pantry, half bath, den, laundry room and kitchenette. That customer describes the crew working from demolition through painting, with Felipe resolving challenges tied to the age of the house. A May bathroom customer says the team finished on time, communicated proactively and respected the home. A March 2026 kitchen-and-half-bath customer separately reports completion on time and within budget, with Felipe returning calls immediately. Older accounts describe the smaller details of the work, too. In March 2025, a master-bath floor-tile customer said the crew protected floors and carpet, sealed off the bathroom during removal, aligned the tile veining and completed the floor and trim on schedule and budget. A February 2025 reviewer described a completed bathroom gutted down to the studs and a clean crew on each visit. In January 2025, another customer described heated-floor installation before tile work, while noting that D-Core's quote was higher than the alternatives they considered. One February 2025 kitchen-tile customer reported a minor area needing touch-up. The same reviewer said Felipe returned and personally addressed it, and still recommended D-Core.
D-Core Construction just finished a remodel of our bathroom. From the moment we met Felipe, we knew instantly he was the right company, the right person. Felipe took the time to explain the process, went over the quality materials he uses, explained exactly how he could meet our vision for our new bathroom. He even had ideas for the design, ones I never thought of, but they absolutely added to the beauty of the finished results . Felipe’s crew, Edwardo, Didi and company were meticulous, detailed and so professional each and everyday they came. Edwardo was the foreman. I have never seen anyone work as hard as he did. He was in constant communication with us to ensure each step met our expectations. His stellar workmanship as he rebuilt our bathroom is so evident by the finished product. Felipe, Edwardo, and Didi were respectful, kind, and always went out of there way to ensure quality workmanship was done each day. We cannot recommend a better company to work with. We did our due diligence picking the right company. D-Core by far exceeded them all in planning, workmanship , quality of materials, communication, and pride in there work. The best part comparing price, the quality of materials, workmanship, crews expertise, their constant communication and updates, you won’t find another company that can compare or compete with D-Core. If we could, we’d give them 10 stars. Thank you Felipe, Edwardo, Didi and crew for giving us such a beautiful bathroom.
Felipe and his team finished our entire basement and they did an incredible job! Felipe was great to work with and it is clear that he has a lot of experience remodeling. He involved us in decisions down to the smallest details and our basement turned out exactly how we envisioned. Felipe does not cut corners and is very knowledgeable in the building codes. We even ended up hiring him again for another job. If you want a job done right, you should hire D-Core Construction!
