After numerous calls he failed to come back to fix [ in my opinion ] A problem with the hardwood floor that probably take an hour to fix. Ordered much more material for the job then was needed, which he took back Very disappointed in Jim
The installers of my prefinished hardwood floor, railing and new stair treads did an excellent job; they arrived promptly at scheduled times and left their work spaces immaculate. It was a pleasure to work with a company that charged a fair price and followed through with requests.
We were new to town two years ago and used Dan's Hardwood Floors based on our realtors recommendation to install and re-finish floors on the first floor. The floors turned out beautiful so when we moved across town we called Jimmy again. We had an extremely tight window (1 week) to refinish the floors in the entire house and Jimmy's team met us at the house within an hour of closing and had his team start sanding/replacing boards. They are dependable and extremely hard workers and the floors turned out amazing and in time for my family to move in as scheduled! Highly recommend!
We are very pleased with the kitchen/entryway refinishing that Dan's Custom Hardwood just completed at our home. Jimmy worked with us to find the finish that would give us the look that we wanted. We chose a Woca White Oil finish for our 5 " white oak kitchen floor and a Woca Black Oil finish for our 8 inch reclaimed Douglas Fir floor in our entryway...fabulous finish, just what we wanted! We couldn't be more pleased with the look. Jimmy and his crew are very professional and hardworking, they even came in to complete the job over the weekend..Saturday and Sunday! This kitchen renovation project has lasted over 9 months now. We have had a lot of disappointing subcontractors that we have had to chase, who have done less than stellar work and who have charged us a small fortune. Jimmy and Dan's flooring have been one of the most professional, thoughtful and fairest contractors on this whole project. Jimmy even did some refinishing in our living room free of charge so that the new kitchen floor would flow into the living room....greatly appreciated! Thanks for everything.
Dan’s is by far one of the best companies we have ever hired. We had about 2000 ft² of mostly red oak refinished with a gorgeous stain designed just for our house. Jimmy (Dan's son) considers flooring an "art." He has a genuine desire to make sure the job is done right and wouldn’t leave until we were 100% happy. It shows in the end product. Our floors are just beautiful. We didn't have any of the issues experienced by friends who used other companies (machine marks, uneven staining, under-sanding, excessive dust etc.). After seeing our floors, they all said they wished they had used Dan's. It’s really hard to find great companies like this today and I could not recommend them more.
