Dave Cleary, whom DC Builders of Cape Cod lists as its owner-operator, is on every job site "from first sketch to final nail," according to the company's website. The Falmouth-based residential general contractor builds custom homes, additions and whole-house remodels on Cape Cod. It says it handles site work, framing, roofing, siding and finish work in-house, and that it has been family-owned and based in Falmouth since 1983. The site lists Falmouth, East Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich and Bourne as its service area, along with membership in the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod. In a September 2022 capenews.net notice, David Cleary of DC Builders sought permission to raze a single-family house on Seabreeze Lane in Falmouth. The plan was to build a new one with a drive-under garage, install a new Title V sewage disposal system and reconfigure the driveway. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #111235 in David A. Cleary's name, is active on the state registry.
