De La Rosa Roofing is a Lynn roofing and general-contracting outfit run day-to-day by Manny De La Rosa, whose name and personal involvement show up directly in the overwhelming majority of its 117 reviews. It holds a 4.9★ average from 144 Google ratings, an A+ BBB grade, and perfect small-sample averages on Houzz, HomeAdvisor and Angi. The written record is unusually specific for a roofing company. Reviewers describe Manny inspecting roofs with a drone instead of climbing a ladder, sending photo documentation the same night, and personally being on-site for jobs that routinely finish in a single day — even large tear-offs involving stripping two layers of shingles, removing chimneys, and relocating vent pipes. In a March 2025 review, a customer described De La Rosa taking on an elderly relative's emergency roof repair after another company refused the small job and a second ignored the call outright. A May 2026 customer who lived through a winter with the new roof reported no leaks and no missing shingles, a marked change from the sliding-shingle problems the old roof had. The record isn't spotless, though. In a June 2026 review, a customer warned other homeowners to confirm the work is fully satisfactory before paying, describing warranty-covered flashing repairs that were promised but never completed. A similar complaint from October 2022 described a year-long wait for a corrected receipt and a promised flashing fix from an earlier job, along with the company allegedly deleting the customer's comment on Facebook. Separately, a safety-record listing shows one OSHA inspection of DeLaRosa Construction & Design Corp since March 2026, resulting in two violations and $1,398 in penalties. Given how much of the operation runs through one person, and the specific pattern in the negative reviews around follow-through on warranty work rather than the initial installation, it's worth getting warranty terms in writing and following up promptly if anything needs a return visit.
“DELAROSA CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN CORP has had 1 OSHA inspection since Mar 10, 2026, resulting in 2 violations and $1,398 in penalties on record.”

Make sure that you are completely satisfied with the work that De La Rosa Roofing does on your house before you pay them. Otherwise they may never come back to correct any problems with the work that is supposed to be covered under their warranty.
