If you don't want to read the whole review, just look at the photos - this is my window AFTER they "repaired" it. I dropped off a few windows at Demers in late October 2025, including one large picture window. It seemed to take a long time, but I figured they were busy. I've worked a lot in the service industry, so I am pretty patient, understanding and polite in these situations. In December, I got a call that they were ready for pick up. The shop guy helped my boyfriend load the large window in the truck and said we were all set. BUT when we got home, the black sealer they had used on the large window had shifted. So now there was black sealer all over the window and the window was no longer sealed in the frame. I sent Demers pictures and they told me to wash it off but not to use soap or even paper towels because it would scratch the pane (it was actually a type of plastic instead of glass). I told them that it wasn't working, but they stopped responding to me. So I brought the window into their shop again. They sent me quotes to fix the window AGAIN, but I was kind of upset. They had called and told me the window was READY FOR PICK UP, but clearly it was still wet and shouldn't have been moved. They even helped us load it into the truck! I emailed them to express my disappointment and requested they fix it without charge since the damage occurred as a result of them telling me it was ready when clearly it wasn't. OVER TWO MONTHS LATER they emailed me back saying that they refused to fix it because the damage was not their fault! Did I put black sealer on the window? Did I show up randomly to pick it up when it wasn't ready? Was I pushy and rushed them to finish? Nope. So what is stopping them from doing shoddy work that breaks immediately and then charging you to repair something again? Nothing I guess.

I had Demers Plate glass supply and install a replacement window in my basement knee wall. Great customer service per usual.

I have an expensive mahogany stained oak table set. With clear stained glass and protective glass above. I went to them because of my history in my house and relative relationship with the demers family. I needed 4 pieces of plate glass. 16.5x 11x3/32. They sold me 4 for under 35 dollars. 1st class results even with an impatient man.

First time here, recommended by Georgetown Door and Window for replacement glass of two sashes. Barbara was exactly what a customer service representative should be, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, communicative. I called to see if I needed an appointment and she told me to come whenever. When I arrived she explained the entire process, took the measurements while I waited and explained that she would call me when the glass arrived. Barbara called when it arrived and said I could drop the sashes off in the morning and pick them up the same day. She called when they were finished, unfortunately I couldn’t make it back by the time they closed but she was willing to make it so I could grab them after hours. Took my CC over the phone and emailed me my invoice right away. When I did pick up the sashes, you couldn’t even tell the glass had been replaced. Highly recommend glass shop.

I had several windows that needed new glass due to cracks or the seal being broken. From measurement to install, Demers was on time, professional, and did solid work. I highly recommend them for all your glass needs.
