Diamond Mechanical is a Weymouth-based commercial and industrial HVAC/R contractor that also does mechanical, plumbing, and building-controls work, with 24/7 emergency service. The clearest account of their actual craftsmanship is a detailed review describing a team that was easy to work with, handled some tricky parts of a job without missing a beat, and finished on time and within budget. Two more Google reviews from the same period are lower-starred but aren't about the work itself — one describes a Diamond Mechanical van running a stop sign and leaning on the horn near pedestrians in Harvard Square, with the reviewer explicitly noting they couldn't speak to the actual plumbing work; a short companion one-star review complains about the same kind of road behavior. Anyone hiring them should weigh the strong account of the finished job against those driving complaints, which speak to how company vehicles were handled on the road rather than the quality of the mechanical or plumbing work performed.
What really stood out was how friendly and down-to-earth the whole team was. They weren’t just there to get the job done; they genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the results. They were super easy to work with and really knew their stuff. They tackled some pretty tricky challenges without missing a beat, and the whole project was done on time and within budget—which is a big deal! You can tell they take pride in their work because everything was done with such attention to detail. If you need a mechanical contractor, seriously, call Diamond. They’re awesome, and we’ll definitely be using them again for any future projects. Highly recommend!
Have some respect for pedestrians other drivers.
Just watched a guy in a Diamond Mechanical van blow through a stop sign in Harvard Sq and then lean on his horn for a full 20 seconds (!) while the car ahead of him stopped for pedestrians in the crosswalk. Can’t speak to their plumbing services but I wouldn’t want someone with that kind of road rage working on my house.
